Position Summary
SageWater is seeking a hands-on IT Specialist to lead and support the company’s core technology systems, infrastructure, and data environment. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations while helping elevate business systems and data capabilities across the organization.
The IT Specialist will work closely with leaders in Marketing, Preconstruction, Operations, Finance and HR serving as a key liaison between internal teams and external IT service providers. This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive, solutions-oriented professional who enjoys both strategic problem-solving and day-to-day execution.
This position reports directly to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities
IT Operations & Systems Management
- Manage technology needs as part of employee onboarding and offboarding, including provisioning hardware, software, and system access
- Administer and support key business systems, including NetSuite ERP, Act-On, UKG Ready Payroll, AutoBuild, and other enterprise applications
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams and external vendors
- Provide end-user support and training on devices and systems (laptops, mobile devices, and applications)
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, policies, training materials, and user guides
- Manage company-wide cell phone account?
Vendor & MSP Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the company’s managed service provider (MSP) and other IT vendors
- Monitor vendor performance, manage service requests, and ensure timely issue resolution
- Assist in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity best practices, including user access controls and endpoint protection
- Partner with external providers to support backup, disaster recovery, and system security
Systems Improvement & Business Support
- Provide system administration to cross-functional cloud-based system applications.
- Partner with departmental leadership to improve system functionality, reporting, and data accuracy
- Support system integrations, upgrades, and enhancements
- Assist in developing and maintaining data governance practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cyber Security or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in IT systems, infrastructure, or business application support
- Experience managing or working with MSPs or outsourced IT providers
- Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred)
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and manage multiple business systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a process improvement mindset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams including writing and public speaking

Salary Range: $75,000 - $110,000 annualized base pay based upon experience and qualifications
