Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Chief Operations Officer (COO), based in Wilmington, DE, with opportunities for some remote work. The COO will be a first team hire to oversee and optimize daily operations, implement business strategies, drive financial performance, and ensure operational efficiency. Responsibilities include leading strategic planning initiatives, managing budgets, analyzing business performance metrics, and collaborating with other executives to align company goals with operational strategies. The COO will also play a critical role in fostering a culture of innovation and excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Business Planning and strategic development
• Flexible and suitable to work with a first team of founders.
• Extensive experience in Operations Management, including streamlining processes and ensuring efficiency
• Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret data to guide decision-making
• Expertise in Finance and Budgeting to drive fiscal responsibility and ensure optimal resource allocation
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• An advanced degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience in the technology or innovation sector is a plus
