As a Psychiatry Intern at Sagent Behavioral Health, formerly known as (Ellie Mental Health/ Nystrom & Associates), you will shadow a medication management provider, engage in charting during sessions, person-centered treatment plans, clinical progress notes, and participate in relevant team meetings and trainings. You also have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients.

As a Psychiatry Intern at Sagent Behavioral Health, formerly known as (Ellie Mental Health/ Nystrom & Associates), you will shadow a medication management provider, engage in charting during sessions, person-centered treatment plans, clinical progress notes, and participate in relevant team meetings and trainings. You also have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients.
Responsibilities
- Shadow individual, couples, family, etc medication management appointments in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Engage in charting and documentation activites during sessions
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
- Attend daily supervision with preceptor
- Must be pursuing a master’s or doctorate degree in psychiatric nursing or a Physician's Assistant program.
- Candidates are completing a formal rotation through their graduate program.
- Experience and ability to demonstrate professionalism and integrity.
- Previous work or volunteer experience related to behavioral health is preferred (common examples are Independent Living Skills, Inpatient Mental Health, Behavioral Program or Residential Experience).
