As a Community Relations Liaison at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will be responsible for growing Sagent’s referral network through strategic outreach, referral partnerships and direct sales efforts. This role combines community engagement, collaborative partnership development and sales strategy to drive sustainable, mission-aligned growth.

- Build relationships with clinics, hospitals, counties, schools, and community partners to increase awareness and referrals for behavioral health services.
- Travel about 4 days a week across central and eastern Iowa to meet with healthcare providers and community leaders.
- Deliver presentations and educational sessions about Sagent Behavioral Health services.
- Distribute brochures and informational materials to clinicians, administrators, and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clinic leaders and staff to support targeted referral and outreach efforts.
- Partner with marketing to support campaigns and ensure effective messaging reaches the right audiences.
- Represent the organization at community events and meetings focused on mental health.
- Track outreach activities, partner engagement, and communications using a CRM system and maintain professional communication through email and social media.
- Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-4:30 PM (some Satterdays depending on business needs)
- Remote but must live in Central or Eastern Iowa as you will travel 4 days out of the week to different locations to conduct this job
- 1 day is at home to do admin work
- You will utilize your vehicle for this role and obtain milage reimbursement
- At least 1 year of experience in outreach, business development, or similar relationship-building work.
- Comfortable with cold calling, drop-in visits, and delivering concise elevator pitches.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to easily connect with new people.
- Confident, outgoing communicator who is comfortable presenting to groups.
- Resilient and persistent, able to handle rejection professionally while continuing outreach efforts.
- Associate or bachelor's Degree
- Valid drivers' licenses and reliable transportation
Salary: $50,000-$58,000
- Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as education, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule and/or location.
- Employees in these positions are W2.
