Job Title Senior Database Administrator
Job Description • Work closely with operations engineers and application developers to ensure database integrity, availability, and performance;
• Responsible for application administration design, planning, and execution to support the production databases which are essential to the operation of Intacct’s cloud service;
• Configure and maintain Oracle database servers;
• Participate in the team’s 24/7 on call rotation and provide occasional off-hours support when required;
• Design and execute overall database architecture strategy, standards, and practices as part of a team;
• Proactively identify areas for optimization and troubleshoot database performance issues;
• Work closely with Application Development team to ensure database changes adhere to best practices and are properly prioritized and scheduled;
• Manage and migrate database schemata, improve service availability and scalability through tuning, automation, tools, and processes;
• Manage database schema maintenance and migrations;

• Administer different technologies and tools including MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Postgres DB, AWS/Azure, and QlikSense;
• Implement and maintain database backup and recovery, disaster recovery procedures;
• Assess and implement new database and application technologies.
Key Responsibilities Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Systems Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Senior Database Administrator-related occupation.
Position requires 60 months of experience in the following:
• Oracle RDBMS technologies, including SQL and PLSQL, to manage and administer financial databases and schemas.
• Utilizing Linux and Unix operating systems including RedHat, and Oracle Enterprise Linux.
• Utilizing Oracle Dataguard to manage and administer Disaster Recover methods for financial databases.
• Installing and administering Oracle Enterprise Manager, Grid Control or Cloud Control for monitoring Oracle RDBMS.
Position requires 36 months of experience in the following:
• Installing and administering Goldengate technology.
• Building, managing and administering MongoDB NoSQL databases.
• Cloud technologies including AWS and Azure to support migration from On-Prem to Cloud.
• ElasticSearch technology to manage Global Search features.
• QlikSense to develop and support Business Intelligence and Reporting functionalities.
