As our Account Executive at Sage – (Sage for Accountants), you will be responsible for generating revenue through new Sage Accountants Network members, upselling, and cross-selling. - Consultative Selling: Understand the unique needs of accounting professionals and present tailored solutions that demonstrate the value of Sage for Accountants.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of outreach, follow-ups, and conversions using CRM tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to refine acquisition strategies.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on acquisition metrics, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.
- 2 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in SaaS or fintech.
- Familiarity with expense management, accounting workflows, or ERP systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts and exhibit these concepts in presentations and webinars.
- Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Ability to travel at least 10% for trade shows and customer events.
- Understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud-based platforms.
- Experience selling to finance departments or mid-market/enterprise clients.
- Knowledge of accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or Xero.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
