Financial Reporting Senior Analyst
Sage Search Partners is seeking a Financial Reporting Senior Analyst on behalf of a publicly-traded company in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This hybrid role sits within the Corporate Accounting function and splits its focus between SEC reporting and technical accounting, supporting the preparation of quarterly and annual filings while serving as a technical resource on complex transactions.
In addition to holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, the ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of public accounting experience with SEC client exposure or equivalent in-house SEC reporting experience at a public company, working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to research complex accounting and disclosure issues. A CPA is heavily preferred. Responsibilities
- Take a meaningful role in preparing quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and the Proxy
- Research, evaluate, and implement new accounting standards, ASUs, and SEC disclosure requirements, including adoption analyses and impact assessments
- Serve as a technical accounting resource on complex or non-routine transactions, including drafting white papers and accounting memos
