Who We Are
We are a warm and welcoming family of three, soon to be four, with a daughter (almost five) and a baby girl due at the end of May. Our family thrives on a sense of calm, routine, and order, and we place a strong emphasis on maintaining a very clean and organized home. We take pride in keeping our home pristine down to the smallest details, from vacuuming as needed to fluffing couch cushions after sitting down. We are intentional about keeping things in their place and tackling messes as soon as they arise, so nothing ever piles up.
Mom is home full-time, and Dad works full-time running his own business, which involves occasional travel to Seattle every 3-4 weeks for 2-3 days. This role will be essential in supporting us during those times, as well as when Mom travels quarterly with our daughter for her allergy institute appointments.
We’re looking to free up more time to focus on spending quality moments with our children, especially as our family grows with the new baby. By welcoming a house manager into our home, we hope to ease the burden of daily cleaning and maintenance, so we can focus on creating meaningful family memories while still maintaining the high standards of cleanliness we value.
Who You Are / What We’re Looking For
You are a thoughtful, proactive, and highly detail-oriented individual with a strong sense of emotional intelligence and awareness. You intuitively understand when to step in to support the needs of a growing family, particularly as we transition from one child to two. Whether it’s engaging with our 5-year-old daughter in a playful, nurturing way or knowing when to quietly support the household and maintain order, your ability to read the room will make you an invaluable part of our team.
We value someone who can balance energy and presence. You are active and energetic, able to move fluidly between tasks and interact with both our newborn and older child. At the same time, you can provide the background support that ensures our home remains organized, peaceful, and clean.
Our ideal house manager is someone who takes immense pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness. You will be proactive in tidying and cleaning as you go, never letting a mess pile up. You’ll ensure that everything is kept pristine, whether it’s cleaning the kitchen after meal prep or organizing toys in the playroom. You thrive in environments where things are always in their place, and you take responsibility for the small details that help our home run smoothly.
This is a long-term role, and we’re looking for someone who is committed to building a supportive, dependable, and consistent presence in our family’s life. You will have the opportunity to play a key role in our home, ensuring that we are always prepared for whatever the day brings and helping us keep our home as organized and clean as it needs to be to support our busy lives.
