position in New London, NH. Accepting both local and traveler candidates. Travelers must reside 75 outside of the facility location

Pay Rate:
Range $2200 to $2600 weekly Gross pay (Includes Non-taxable
travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Med Surg
Shifta available: Nights
Schedule: 40 hours/week, 5 shifts per week, Mon-Fri, EOW, Facility will not accommodated 10/12-hr shift requests or blocked schedules
Position Requirements:
- Current
experience as Registered Nurse in Med Surg units: 3_ years -
Required
- Epic EMR experience- Highly preferred
- Prior Travel
Nursing experience – Highly preferred
- Traveler must have their own vehicle - Required
Education, License, and Certification Requirements:
- RN License for
State of NH or Compact - Required
- BLS Certifications from AHA - Required
- ACLS Certifications from AHA - Required
Job Description:
- Provides and documents nursing care assessments, nursing interventions, and patient/family education for patients in Med Surg Units
- Alerts appropriate medical team members to any observed change in patient presentation or unexpected
assessment findings
- Review the assigned patient plan of care and pertinent active orders in the patient's electronic medical record before providing care.
- Performs and documents focused on nursing assessments of assigned
patients, including but not limited to vital signs, assessment of pain, etc.,
- Reports relevant assessment findings and suggestions to enhance patient
care directly to members of the interdisciplinary team
- Complies with policies, procedures, and area-specific expectations
related to maintaining a safe care environment. Initiates reporting or
action when needed to address safety concerns
- Complies with policies, procedures, and area-specific expectations
related to medication safety; patient identification; specimen collection and
specimen labeling activities; documentation of patient information and patient
care activities; as well as dependability, attendance, and scheduling
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Salary : $2,200 - $2,600
