position in Dubuque, IA. Accepting both local and traveler candidates. Travelers must reside 60 outside of the facility area.

Pay Rate:
Range $2088 to $2340 weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable
travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: ICU
Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend and holiday rotation
Position Requirements:
- Registered Nurse: 1.5 years - Required
- ICU Nursing experience:
Recent/Current 1.5 yeas - Required
- Critical Access Hospital experience - Highly preferred
- Prior Travel Nursing experience –
Highly preferred
Education, License
and Certification Requirements:
- ASN or an equivalent – Required
- BSN or an equivalent – Highly
preferred
- RN License for State of IA or Compact - Required
- BLS, ACLS Certifications from AHA - Required
- NIHSS Certification - Required (Can be obtained upon offer)
Job Description:
- Provide all aspects of Nursing care for
patients in the assigned ICU units
- Provides
safe, quality care for patients/residents according to individualized care plan
that supports patient/resident outcomes.
- Regularly
assesses patient's/client's needs and provides skilled nursing services as
prescribed by the physician authorized plan of care, and accepted standards of
nursing practice.
- Evaluates
effectiveness of treatment plan and makes suggestions or participates in
updating/revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members,
utilizing current information to improve patient care.
- Processes
physician/provider orders and performs physician ordered care accurately,
completely and in a timely manner.
- Follows
up regarding medication changes and order clarifications.
