Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 X 12-hr, Fri/Sat/Sun Schedule. No Call
Position Requirements:
- 1-2
years of RN Cath Lab experience - Required
- Interventional
Radiology experience - Highly Preferred
- 1
Years of experience in Electrophysiology - Highly Preferred
- Cardiac
Rhythm Interpretation -- Highly Preferred
- Knowledge
& operation of intraaortic balloon pump - Highly Preferred
- Travel
experience – Preferred
Education, License
and Certification Requirements:
- RN License for State of MI - Required
- BLS, ACLS Certifications from AHA - Required
Job Description:
- This position cares for patients before, during and
after angiography, interventional, angiographic cardiac catheterization
procedures. This includes pre-procedure assessment, pre-medication,
documentation of cath process, post-cath care, patient education. Float to EP as required
- Helps to cover and provide nursing support to our IR procedures and pre/post procedure care.
- Scrubs in for procedures and assists other members
of the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
- Performs nursing care of the
catheterization/angiography patient.
- Operates equipment, i.e., cardiac output,
hemodynamic, pacemakers/ICD’s, intraaortic balloon pump, etc. Transfers
patients, stocks supplies and performs basic office procedures.
- Scrubs in for procedures with the physician (not
required, but preferred)
- Records all pertinent information on appropriate
data sheets.
- Help cover and provide nursing support to our IR
procedures and pre/post procedure care.
Salary : $2,880
