Contract Length:13 weeks
Pay Rate: $2484 Weekly Gross Pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Med Surg, Float to Rehab
Shifts available: Nights
Shift timings: 12 Hours; Nights, 7.00p - 7.30a
Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, Mon-Fri, Every other weekend
Position Requirements:
- Recent/Current Med Surg and Rehab Nursing experience: 2 years - Required
- Must be willing to float to Acute Rehab and Acute Med Surg units - Required
- Charge RN experience - Required
- Prior travel or contract experience of at least 3 months: Required
- COVID Vaccinations or exemptions - Required
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- ASN - Required
- BSN – Preferred
- RN License for State of VT or Compact - Required
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
- ACLS Certification from AHSA – Required
Job Description:
- Coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting for assigned units (Med Surg and Rehab)
- Must be willing to float to Acute Rehab and Acute Med Surg units
- Must demonstrate clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process
- Must assess and identify patient problems/needs
- Will establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress
- Responsible for assisting, supporting, and educating patients
- EMR: Cerner
- Nurse to Patient ratio: 1 to 4/5
- Average daily patient census: 22
