Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and a warm, welcoming attitude. Your role is vital in creating memorable moments for our guests while ensuring smooth restaurant operations. Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly demeanor, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage table settings, clear dishes, and assist with bussing to maintain a clean and inviting dining environment
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, food safety standards, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
• Support guest relations by providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues professionally, and fostering positive guest interactions
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support during busy periods if needed in a fast-paced food service environment

Requirements

• RAMP Certification
• Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and payment processing
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a lively setting
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing procedures
• Experience in serving or host/host roles is advantageous; bartending or bussing experience is also valued (We will be willing to train you if you're a beginner to this industry)
• Knowledge of the food industry standards for hospitality, guest services, and food preparation techniques
