SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a Regional Manager who has experience in managing regional, area or multi-district food service operations for venue in Texas.
The best candidate has experience supervising multiple locations in the contract food service industry. Experience in the academic arena is preferred. The candidate will have at least ten years of high-quality catering, food service, budget preparation, and food service management experience for multiple districts, areas or states.
This Regional Leader will drive results through a team of district and area managers, ensuring that each location meets the highest standards, effectively implements SAGE's programs, and delights our clients and customers.
Extensive travel is expected for this role.
Pay Type: $175,000.00 -$225,000.00 Salary

What you'll do:
- Lead and develop teams - Provide strategic leadership to a region composed of both hourly and salaried employees. Recruit, hire, coach, and develop District Managers, CSTs, and Venue Managers—making staffing decisions to maintain excellence.
- Strengthen Client Partnerships - Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring their expectations are consistently exceeded—every day, not just during major events.
- Drive Operational Excellence - Implement, monitor, and continuously enhance operational standards and procedures to improve efficiency, consistency, and productivity across locations.
- Ensure Compliance & Safety - Oversee adherence to company policies, food safety regulations, and health standards. Conduct regular venue visits to verify that guidelines are being upheld.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally - Partner with marketing, HR, finance, strategy, and sales teams to align regional execution with broader business goals to support the ONE SAGE vision.
- Deliver Financial Accountability - Ensure all venues operate within budget, proactively identify variances, and implement corrective strategies acceptable to both SAGE leadership and clients.
- Innovate & Grow the Business - Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and customer preferences, identifying opportunities for innovation, enhanced offerings, and regional growth.
- Foster a High-Performance Culture - Create a positive, inclusive environment rooted in teamwork, continuous improvement, accountability, and customer-centric service.
- Lead by Example in the Field - Travel frequently to venues, providing on-site support, reinforcing standards, and championing operational excellence.
What you'll need:
- Career demonstrating growth of leadership skills, client skills and knowledge of the food service business.
- Proven experience as a regional manager or in a similar leadership role within the food service industry, campus dining preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations, health standards, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and manage budgets for P&L and fee accounts.
- Cash and retail experience is desirable.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
