Part-Time Street Team Member – Manchester Media Group

Manchester Media Group is looking for energetic, outgoing and dependable individuals to join our Part-Time Street Team.

Street Team members are the face of our radio stations in the community, representing Manchester Media Group at concerts, festivals, client locations, community events, station promotions and live broadcasts throughout Southern New Hampshire.

The ideal candidate enjoys meeting people, is comfortable engaging with listeners and can help create a fun, positive experience wherever our stations are represented.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Represent Manchester Media Group and its stations at promotional, community and client events.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of station promotional displays, including tents, tables, banners, signage, speakers and other equipment.
• Engage with listeners and event attendees in a friendly, professional and enthusiastic manner.
• Assist with station contests, games, giveaways and prize distribution.
• Help execute on-site promotions, live broadcasts, concerts, grand openings and community events.
• Drive station vehicles to and from appearances and promotional events as assigned.
• Load, unload and transport promotional equipment and materials.
• Maintain station promotional vehicles, equipment and event materials in a clean and professional condition.
• Assist on-air personalities, Promotions staff and other station personnel during appearances and events.
• Take photos, video and other content from events for station websites and social media when requested.
• Provide accurate information about station promotions, contests and upcoming events to listeners.
• Maintain and organize promotional materials and prize inventory as assigned.
• Follow all company policies and event procedures.
• Represent Manchester Media Group, our stations and our clients in a professional and positive manner at all times.
• Perform additional promotional and station duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, enthusiastic and comfortable interacting with the public.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Professional attitude and appearance when representing Manchester Media Group and its clients.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced event environment.
• Comfortable using smartphones and social media platforms to capture photos, video and other content.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a safe driving record.
• Previous experience in promotions, events, customer service, hospitality, broadcasting or entertainment is helpful but not required.
• An interest in radio, music, entertainment and local events is a plus.

Schedule & Availability

This is a part-time position with hours based on the station’s promotional and event schedule.

Candidates should have flexible availability, including afternoons, evenings, weekends and occasional holidays. Hours will vary from week to week depending on station events and promotions.

Physical Requirements

This position involves regular setup and breakdown of promotional equipment and working at both indoor and outdoor events.

Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods of time and safely lift, carry and move promotional materials and equipment. Events may take place in a variety of weather conditions.
