Senior Project Manager

The Opportunity: You will have direct responsibility for the execution of projects from the concept phase through release. To achieve this, you will lead cross functional engineering teams through the product development process with responsibility for scope, cost, and schedule. In addition to following the process, you will provide critical inputs for its evolution as it is adapted to meet the ever growing business needs. How I will Contribute: Provider critical input on project management tools and process to elevate the competence in SFS. Create documentation to support processes and tooling and develop communication plans to implement changes. Create, drive and track detailed project plans that outline the scope, budget, and schedule. Assemble, guide and motivate project teams to achieve project goals. Address and resolve any conflict that arises within the team, Apply appropriate risk assessments to projects. Organize, and lead project meetings both with the project team and stakeholders. Conduct regular quality checks and reviews to ensure deliverables meet the required standards. Provide regular updates on project progress, technical milestones, and any issues. Foster effective communication with the project team and stakeholders. Manage changes to the project scope, schedule and costs, using appropriate change control processes What You Bring to Safran Federal Systems: Bachelor's degree in technical field (EE, CE, CS, ME) with a minimum of 4 years of related experience Experience running a combination of hardware and software-based projects in a product development environment. Ability to be agile and have fun! Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines. Ability to reason logically and make sound decisions, to consider alternative and diverse perspectives, to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, to remain poised under all circumstances, and to interact effectively with people in a positive manner that engenders confidence and trust. Ability to exercise independent judgment, make good decisions, and justify them to senior leaders Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to communicate across various levels within the organization.
