About the Role
We're hiring a barista for our all-day café and bakery on East Bay Street. You'll pull espresso, build drinks, and work a counter where the pastry case is as much a part of the sale as the coffee.
Our managers interview daily, so you won't wait long to hear back after you apply.
What You'll Do- Prepare and serve coffee and espresso beverages
- Guide guests through the pastry case and recommend desserts and baked goods
- Provide friendly, attentive service through the morning rush and all day after it
- Process payments accurately on the POS
- Keep the café clean, organized, and food-safe
- Assist with light food prep and product displays
- Monitor supplies and restock as needed
- Work with the front of house team to keep service moving
- Barista experience preferred
- Genuine interest in coffee and hospitality
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask through a rush
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Reliable, on-time attendance and attention to detail
A plus: espresso calibration and dialing-in experience, latte art, and previous café or bakery work.
