JOB TITLE: CFA Parapro
REPORTS TO: CFA Director
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To provide support and assistance for DMPCFA events, ticketing, Stagecraft classes and janitorial tasks.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Show days and show day lead up:
- prep staging (risers/orchestra chairs/stands)
- prep tech (mics, monitors, stands, lighting: alignments, cue preps, etc.)
- Assist Stagecraft students and staff with show prep/tear down and tech
- janitorial/maintenance (stage areas: dry mop/wet mop, general cleanup stage and wings)
Show days: morning show (student attended):
- assist AND coordinate student/staff entry
- facility safety and security
- assist/manage Stagecraft students
- other morning shows/events make sure tech and staging is covered/attended to
Show days: evening show (public):
- assist/manage ticketing and Stagecraft students/crews
- assist/manage stage/tech/Stagecraft students as directed by director
- Non-show days/weeks:
- inventory support for tech and staging (batteries/gaff/paint touch ups, etc)
- janitorial (vacuum, wipe down, general clean up in patron areas)
- assist Stagecraft classes in understanding shows and show prep and tech
Paraprofessional Duties
- work with Stagecraft students during class/instructional time as an instructional assistant to the Stagecraft teacher
- assist other SUSD Administration and Instructional Staff regarding CFA/Stagecraft and student related activities and events
Performs other jobs as may be assigned.
Salary : $16
