Responsibilities
- Select and gather products from designated storage areas based on order specifications using handheld scanners or pick lists
- Verify product quantities and quality, ensuring accuracy before packing for shipment
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely and efficiently when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency throughout the shift
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist in inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment activities as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and resolve discrepancies promptly
Experience
- Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or retail environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists, labels, or scanning systems with accuracy
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods during shifts
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order selection
- Basic proficiency with handheld scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
