Safety Test and Equipment, a nationwide Power utility tooling and PPE provider, is actively seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our sales team as a Customer Service Representative focused on assisting customers and Outside sales team.
This full-time position requires a dedicated individual who possesses excellent communication skills, resilience, & drive to help our sales team succeed. The successful candidate will embody a positive attitude, take pride in their work, and be an integral part of our sales force.
As a Representative - Customer Service, you will respond to customer inquiries by telephone and e-mail to provide inquiry or problem resolution. You will resolve mostly routine and some non-routine, more complex problems and communicate solution or requested information to the customer. You will analyze a customer's service needs and refer to other services or technical departments for follow-up as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Support customer base by answering questions, concerns, and account inquiries as well as handling customer complaints.
- Process payments for cash account customers.
- Research and resolve customer problems, acting as the customer liaison between other departments when necessary.
- Back-up support to sales counter with walk-in 37and telephone inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree minimum
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Able to work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always
- Computer literate, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, and e-mail
Pay: base $37,000 - $130,000 per year / full time job type

Compensation Package:
- $37,000 Base salary Commission pay
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift, 1 hour lunch
- Day shift 8am-5pm
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person, in Mansfield, TX daily.
