What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Supervisor - Kenosha, Wisconsin position at Safety Resources, Inc.?
Seeking construction site safety representative in the Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin area. Must have a degree in a safety-related field or minimum of 5 years of safety experience and OSHA 30 hour with First Aid CPR/AED certifications. Ability to successfully interact with all levels of construction personnel is a must. Pay will be based on experience. This position is for a local candidate and will have 40 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities: Daily inspections walking several miles per day, permits and siting work with pictures.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Solid verbal communication skills, experience with communicating within an organization at all levels.
- Strong technical writing skills, experience in writing safety policies and procedures, as well as audit reports and incident investigation reports.
- Knowledge of construction standards and strong field experience.
- Working knowledge of state and federal safety regulations, OSHA and DOT.
- OSHA 30 Hour Construction Certification completed within the last 5 years.
Required Experience:
- Must have a degree in a safety-related field or a minimum of 1 year of safety experience or 5 years of relevant safety experience
- OSHA 30 hour
- First Aid - CPR/AED certification
Hours:
- 3 week rotation of 60 hours/ 60 hours/ 50 hours
- one-year duration
