Welder I

• Ability to pass certification test when instructed
• Ability to weld small parts and simple weldments when instructed
• Safe operations of all welding equipment and proper use of all PPE
  • Welding helmet, Safety glasses, Welding jacket and gloves
• Can weld using the GMAW process
• Utilize technology for processing jobs and communication
  • Clocking, Inventory, Job Completion
• Assist in training employees in the work center with current knowledge base
• Mandatory overtime when business conditions require it
• Adherence to the attendance policy
• All other duties as required

Are you qualified?

• Experience: 2 years of fabrication experience or training is preferred.
• Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in reading blueprints and using fixtures, jigs, clamps, and quality inspection tools is essential.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (100 lbs.) and perform various physical tasks such as bending, stooping, sitting, walking, twisting, and standing.
• Professionalism: Conduct yourself in a professional, safe, and businesslike manner while maintaining a highly motivated, positive, and collaborative attitude.
• Reliability: Can make the daily commute to Spring Park, MN and maintain good attendance. 
• Pre-employment Requirements: Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, full panel drug screening, and physical work simulation.
• Training: Completion of necessary training requirements provided by SRC.
