The HSE Advisor will coordinate contractor work, conduct additional field audits, and support the HSE team’s efforts.

Overview Of Job Responsibilities
- Conduct an initial project HSE gap assessment and priority risk review within the first two (2) weeks of assignment.
- Perform and document daily field observations, including identification of significant findings, critical risks, and required follow-up actions.
- Prepare and submit weekly written status reports summarizing key activities, leading concerns, open action items, incident and event status, and emerging project risks.
- Review and provide documented feedback on high-risk work plans, permits, JSAs/JHAs, and energy isolation plans, as requested by the Project Team.
- Track, communicate, and support closure of corrective actions identified through field observations, incidents, inspections, and project meetings.
- Support incident and event investigations, including corrective action follow-up and development of lessons learned documentation.
- Prepare a final project closeout report summarizing significant risks, key observations, major events, and lessons learned upon completion of the assignment.
- Five years of construction safety experience.
- Three-plus years of experience managing teams and departments, overseeing program execution, and holding program ownership.
- Degree in safety or related fields.
- Previous experience in safety leadership.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course.
- Moving about long distances
- Ascending/descending stairs and ladders
- Remaining in a stationary position for a prolonged period
- Working in extreme weather
- Being exposed to loud noises
- Wearing personal protective gear correctly
