Safety Management Group is seeking an Environmental Advisor in the Ashdown, Arkansas area.
- Conduct weekly inspections and inspections following qualifying rain events in accordance with SWPPP (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan) requirements
- Document site conditions through detailed photography to support inspection findings
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports outlining observations, compliance status, and recommended corrective actions
- Communicate findings clearly with designated construction site representatives
- Submit completed reports in a timely manner to appropriate stakeholders
- Maintain organized electronic records of all inspection reports and supporting documentation
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years with this experience
- Experience performing SWPP inspections for utility and active construction projects.
Physical Demands of the job may include:
- Moving about long distances
- Ascending/Descending stairs and ladders
- Remaining in a stationary position for a prolonged period
- Working in extreme weather
- Being exposed to loud noises
- Wearing personal protective gear correctly
