Assistant Operations Manager (Swim School)

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to support daily operations, assist with deck supervision, and help keep our team and schedule on track.
This is a support role — you’ll work directly with the Operations Manager to handle the day-to-day responsibilities that keep the business running efficiently.

What You’ll Do
This role is focused on execution and support:
- Assist the Operations Manager with daily tasks and follow-through
- Help manage staff schedules, call-outs, and shift coverage
- Be present on deck: support instructors, help manage classes, and step in when needed
- Take ownership of administrative and time-consuming tasks
- Help maintain a high standard of customer service
- Assist with onboarding and training new staff
- Support basic inventory and operational organization
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in a leadership, assistant, or operations support role
- Highly organized and dependable — you don’t let things fall through the cracks
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and team support mindset
- Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed
Bonus Points If You Have
- Swim lesson or coaching experience
- Knowledge of swim strokes and class structure
- Experience with scheduling software (Mindbody a plus)
Certifications (Preferred)
- CPR/AED & First Aid
- Lifeguard certification
- WSI certification (a plus)
