NEMT Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to maintaining vehicle safety, and the ability to navigate various driving conditions. Experience in Paratransit, Limousine, Van driving, or Bus driving is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vehicles to transport passengers or goods to designated locations.
• Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle, conducting regular inspections and necessary maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with passengers regarding their needs and provide assistance as required.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while ensuring the safety of passengers at all times.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries from passengers promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading of luggage or packages as needed.
• Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and passenger counts.
• Navigate efficiently using GPS systems or maps to ensure timely arrivals at destinations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a Delivery driver, Shuttle driver, or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations while ensuring passenger safety.
• Familiarity with Paratransit services is a plus.
• Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to company policies regarding safety and conduct.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the operational needs of the business.
