Company Description Safeli is a digital marketplace designed for college students to easily buy and sell dorm essentials. Through our app, users can find appliances, furniture, clothing, textbooks, shoes, and more from peers on their campus. We focus on convenience, affordability, and sustainability by extending the life of everyday student items. Our platform creates a simple, trusted way for students to manage their living spaces and budgets. Safeli is growing quickly and offers hands-on opportunities to shape the student marketplace experience.

Available Positions

1. Social Media & Content Strategist (intern)

Commitment: 5-8 hours/week

Focus Areas: Short-form video (TikTok, Instagram Reels), street interviews, styling thrift hauls, trend monitoring.

Experience oriented, unpaid position

2. PR & Campus Brand Activation Lead (temporary position, 2 weeks at a time)

Commitment: 5-8 hours/week

Focus Areas: On-campus pop-ups (The Pit, Student Union), Greek life/residence hall partnerships, press releases, community outreach.

Perks / Compensation: Stipend

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a student at UNC Chapel Hill and able to work on-site at UNC Chapel Hill's main campus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with student users and campus partners.
• Comfort using mobile apps and online platforms, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Interest in startups, digital marketplaces, or consumer technology, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple tasks, and work collaboratively in a small team environment.
• Previous campus involvement (clubs, organizations, residence life, or student government) is a plus.
