As a Remote Supports Training Specialist, you are responsible for assessing training needs, developing effective learning programs, and delivering engaging instruction that enhances knowledge retention, skill development, and performance. The Remote Supports Training Specialist is a confident presenter, skilled facilitator, and dedicated educator who stays current on the latest tools, technologies, and best practices in training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including, but not limited to:
• Developing, implementing, and continuously improving the organization's Remote Supports learning strategy to ensure employees possess the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to achieve organizational goals, regulatory compliance, high-quality service delivery, and positive client outcomes.
• Responsible for researching and setting up Remote Supports compliance and training processes to meet the requirements of all states in which we provide service.
• Develop curriculum, learning objectives, lesson plans, participant guides, job aids, and competency assessments.
• Conduct ongoing training needs assessments through observation, performance data, quality metrics, and stakeholder feedback.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through data, feedback, and performance outcomes, track and report results.
• Deliver training for employee orientation, new hires, and upskilling programs.
• Develop and deliver a train the trainer program for Remote Supports Trainers.
• Ensure all trainers are up to date on Remote Supports Standards and Practices, and training reflects the most up to date information.
• Deliver training on first, second, and third shift when needed.
• Is viewed by Remote Supports employees as valuable, knowledgeable, and as a high-functioning company resource.
• Assist the national training team with training initiatives.
• Manage multiple training projects while meeting established timelines.
• Communicate training updates, best practices, and announcements through different modalities of communication.
• Research emerging training technologies and instructional methods.
• Coach employees to build skills and support career development.
• Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, enrollment, equipment, and costs.
• Ensure the confidentiality of our employees and clients’ Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
• Adheres to and accurately promotes all Company Policies and Procedures.
• Help promote a positive environment and a positive culture through training and interaction with other SafeinHome employees.
• Organize and schedule meetings and appointments on calendar.
• Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, and forms.
• Filter emails, makes a task list, prioritizes the list, and completes the tasks in a timely manner.
• Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
• Maintain computer and manual filing systems.
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
• Leads change initiatives and provides feedback to management to improve the environment for employees and the service level for clients under SafeinHome support.
• Keeps management apprised of issues impacting your/our ability to provide excellent service.
• Adheres to and accurately promotes all Company Policies and Procedures.
• Responds quickly and practically to emergencies, crises, or unexpected problems.
• Does NOT share gossip, inappropriate personnel or personal details, or otherwise incite employee dissatisfaction.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Work environment could include the following: airports, home office, driving in traffic, riding with Sales team, driving in adverse weather (i.e. rain, snow, sleet, etc.), staying in hotels overnight, and other work-travel related types of activities, as safety permits.
The Remote Supports Training Specialist will work directly out of our SafeinHome-Tempe location, Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Communication, Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• Two years experience as a Trainer, Corporate Training Specialist or similar role is preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.

• Skilled in instructional design, digital learning platforms, and training delivery best practices.

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Complete and comprehensive understanding/proficiency with all required training materials including online courses provided by State agencies. Must be able to recall, respond & document proficiency of State rules, guidelines, and requirements.
• Complete and comprehensive understanding/proficiency with all Company Policies and Procedures.
• Comprehensive and ongoing understanding of all Company developed software systems required to perform the position’s job function.

Salary : $70,000
