Medical Courier MUST CARRY BUSINESS AUTO INSURANCE

Job Overview:

We are seeking Owner Operator Drivers to join our team at SafeGoods Express. As an Owner Operator Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials using your own vehicle. Candidates must live within 10 miles of route start point. Freight must be delivered same day. Sedans/SUVs/Trucks are welcome to apply. Schedule is Monday through Friday with short Saturday route.

This is the route:

morning start time: 11AM MON-FRI

Evening start time: 6:15PM MON-FRI

Saturday start time: 4PM

Duties:

- Transport specimen in cooled, insulated bag to designated locations

- Operate your own vehicle in accordance with the law

- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently

- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided

- Utilize app for proof of delivery throughout shift

- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- 100k/300k/50k minimum business insurance coverage*

- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role

- Knowledge of route driving and navigation systems

- Ability to carry up to 20 lbs

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Able to pass driving record, background and drug screening

- Tech Savvy with delivery app
