Safecare Medical Center is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a busy primary care physicians office in the South Broward area.
Applicants must be proficient in phlebotomy and one year of experience (preferred). Familiarity with electronic medical records is a plus.
Position: Medical Assistant assigned to a Physician (Bilingual preferred)
Job Summary:
- Performs selected nursing and clerical duties to assist in patient care management; these duties are delegated to the degree of training by the objectives and policies of this organization.
- Qualifications:
- Current Medical Assistant certification, CPR certification, and OSHA certification.
- Must possess good organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written in the English language. MANDARIN OR SPANISH preferred
- Ability to perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and office laboratory procedures.
- Ability to administer injections.
Must be able to travel to both offices

Medical Receptionist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to our patients, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing the front desk efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
- Answer and manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using EMR software.
- Verify insurance eligibility, collect co-payments, and process patient payments.
- Update and maintain patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Manage front desk clerical tasks, including scanning, filing, and faxing
- Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Prior experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred.
