Safe-Way Garage Doors is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales growth across Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. This is a high-impact role for a motivated self-starter who can blend strategy, hustle, and customer focus to expand market share and exceed revenue targets.
🔑 What You’ll Own
- Drive regional sales growth by expanding existing accounts and onboarding new dealers and wholesalers
- Build strong, trusted relationships with customers across the territory
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies in partnership with the VP of Sales & Marketing
- Lead aggressive prospecting efforts to uncover new opportunities
- Generate leads through networking, research, and industry connections
- Manage your territory with discipline—planning, forecasting, and follow-through
- Represent Safe-Way Garage Doors at customer meetings, trade shows, and product demonstrations
- Consistently meeting or exceeding regional revenue goals
- Growing a strong pipeline of new and repeat business
- Becoming a trusted advisor to dealers and partners
- Expanding Safe-Way’s footprint and brand presence in the Midwest
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5 years of sales experience in building materials (garage door industry experience is a plus)
- Experience in outside or territory sales strongly preferred
- Proven ability to prospect, close, and grow accounts
- CRM experience required (Salesforce preferred; Power BI a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel regularly for customer visits, trade shows, and demos
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Customer Focus: Builds trust, loyalty, and long-term partnerships
- Communication: Confident presenter with strong written and verbal skills
- Collaboration: Works cross-functionally to align sales strategy and execution
- Decision-Making: Gathers insights, evaluates options, and acts decisively
- Vision & Values: Leads with integrity, energy, and alignment to company values
- Remote home-office based role
- Frequent virtual meetings and customer visits
- Regular travel throughout the region, including air and vehicle travel
- Low to moderate noise environment
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and travel for extended periods
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs
- Visual acuity for presentations, driving, and computer work
