Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Bookkeeper role based in Greensboro, NC. The responsibilities of the Bookkeeper include maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, processing payroll, and preparing financial reports. The role also involves ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, assisting with audits, and supporting financial planning through accurate and up-to-date recordkeeping.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software, such as QuickBooks, and familiarity with financial management systems
- Strong skills in accounts management, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records and preparing financial reports
- Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance standards, and financial audit procedures
- Effective problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data reporting and analysis
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred
