Hiring: Full-Time Bilingual Therapist
The Therapist is responsible for providing counseling, crisis intervention, and safety planning. The Therapist must be able to deliver agency services and initiatives in a culturally sensitive manner specific to the person’s race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, disability, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression. Clinical supervision provided for LPC and LCSW licensure. Increase in salary once licensed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides client-centered individual and group counseling, employing age and developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions to children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced violence. Provides on- call coverage for all client operations. The therapist works as a member of the Counseling Team and reports to the Director of Counseling.
Required Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Master’s degree in social work or counseling.
- Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple projects Experience using Microsoft Office software platforms
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing with team members and clients Demonstrated understanding of the issues of sexual and domestic violence
- Ability to remain patient, calm, and professional when working in crisis situations, and work and make decisions independently and as a member of a team
- Availability to work some evening, weekend and holiday hours Must have reliable transportation
Salary:
Starting salary commensurate with experience and licensure. License-eligible $52,000 - $62,000
Licensed $56,000- $68,000
