What You’ll Do

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Lead or support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Perform detailed balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the SMI business
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Assist with external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
- Partner with FP&A, operations, and business leaders to provide financial insight and decision support
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and system efficiencies
- Maintain accurate documentation and support for financial transactions and reporting
- Provide guidance and informal mentorship to junior accounting staff, as needed
- Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in an operationally complex environment
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Manager/Supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders
