Foundation Development and Operations Manager, Job Description
Title: General Manager
Reports to: Sonoma Serrengeti CARES Foundation President
Classification: Exempt
Pay Rate: TBD (Exempt status based on Candidate’s experience/expertise)

28 year established charitable foundation moving to the next chapter of our storied history. SSCF seeks a General Manager who thrives in an environment that rewards enterprise and financial performance.
Responsibilities:
Fundraising
Working with the Executive Committee
Annual Fundraising Plan: Create, implement, track and report on fundraising goals and results.
Fundraising Campaigns: Plan and implement multiple fundraising campaigns.
- Donor relationships and giving.
- Oversee donor CRM software. Track and analyze giving and campaigns.
- Develop and conduct in-person and virtual donor meetings.
- Collaborate with Foundation officers and Board of Directors.
Administration
- Lead and direct Staff. Full and part-time employees.
- Human Resource Compliance.
- Oversee all day-to-day administrative functions.
- Coordination and collaboration with Wildlife Park Management and Staff.
Mission Programs
- Direct and supervise Mission Programs Managers.
- Mission programs include Safari West Live, Junior Keepers, and Discover Africa.
Qualifications and Experience
- Managed a business with P & L responsibility.
- Promotion and direct marketing with proven results.
- Strong Communication: Verbal, written, and social media.
- Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Clean driving record and insurance as required by the Foundation.
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors in seasonal weather conditions.
- Fundraising and/or Non-Profit experience a plus.
- Basic computer skills, including CRM, Customer Database a plus.
