General Laborer – Scrap Metal Recycling (Full-Time, Monday–Friday)

What You’ll Do (Essential Job Functions)
- Sort materials by identifying and removing non‑conforming items.
- Maintain physical endurance while pushing, pulling, lifting, and performing repetitive movements.
- Follow quality specifications for materials based on customer and internal standards.
- Complete production reports accurately as needed.
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as cleaning, basic repairs, or equipment support.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and operational guidelines to minimize risk.
Skills & Abilities Needed
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to complete required safety training.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work in a variety of roles depending on daily needs.
- Ability to stay focused and maintain situational awareness on a moving sort line.
Strong listening skills and willingness to learn.
Experience
- 1–2 years of related labor, manufacturing, construction, or warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
