Location: Walton, KY
Shift: Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm

What you will do:

• Assist our wide range of clients with the needs and demands of their supply chains
• Ensure acceptable levels of performance in assigned business unit by meeting or exceeding productivity standards and cost control management
• Work with customer, client services, and inventory teams on daily inventory management as well as maintaining a constant flow of inbound product
• Will process several large data sets at once to determine the best possible slotting for inbound and existing SKUs
• Create/Maintain/Implement inventory plans over the span of several weeks
• Ensure exceptional customer service by meeting key performance indicators (order fill rate accuracy, unannounced inspections, inventory accuracy, etc.) for assigned area of responsibility
• Achieve performance goals through KPI monitoring, promote LEAN principles, and process improvement
• Lead and maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment.  Meet or exceed SCLS corporate safety goals
• Effectively communicate goals, expectations, areas for improvement, and successes to associates
• Potential to build a team of hourly associates and coach, train, and mentor associates allowing them the opportunity to grow and develop
• Conduct annual performance reviews

Our ideal candidate will have…

• 2 years of previous experience in a leadership role with a track record of implementing and managing change
• Listening skills and strong abilities to collaborate, communicate and motivate others to accomplish goals
• Demonstrated success in problem-solving and decision-making to overcome obstacles and maximize opportunities
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment while focusing on exceeding operational goals
• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills, agility, and ability to be cross-trained to do more where needed
• Technical savvy (intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office—especially Excel—along with internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications)
• High school diploma/GED required

It's not required, but it would be even better if you have…

• Bachelor's Degree
• Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement training and experience
• Supply chain/logistics experience is a plus but not required
