We are looking for a licensed Smog Test & Repair Technician who is also comfortable performing general automotive services. Position Overview
We are seeking a Smog Test & Repair Technician who can also handle light to medium mechanical work, including inspections, diagnosing vehicles and maintenance services.
Responsibilities
- Perform Smog Inspections (License Required)
- Be able to perform any repairs as needed for Smogs
- Perform wheel alignments
- Oil changes, brake jobs, and routine maintenance
- Diagnose and repair emissions-related issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate clearly with management and customers when needed
Requirements
- Valid California Smog Test & Repair License
- Alignment experience (Hunter system preferred)
- General automotive repair experience
- Valid Drivers license
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
Preferred Qualifications
-BAR certified Brake & Lamp inspector/ VSSI
-ASE certifications
- Experience in independent shops
- Strong diagnostic skills
Pay: $22.50 - $37.20 per hour
