Personal Care Aide or Med Techs
Part time or Full time for the right person
6:30 AM - 3 PM - Every other Weekend
What You’ll Do
As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.), you’ll provide hands-on support to residents who need help with daily living. Your role is essential to their comfort, safety, and quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene
- Supporting mobility: transfers, ambulation, positioning, and wheelchair transport
- Taking vital signs and reporting changes in condition
- Escorting residents to activities, appointments, and social events
- Maintaining clean and safe living spaces
- Responding to emergencies using CPR, Heimlich maneuver, and facility protocols
- Participating in light housekeeping, dietary support, and recreational programming
- Documenting care and communicating with supervisors and team members
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED Required
- Experience preferred.
- Applicants must be willing to work every other weekend.
- References and excellent attendance required.
- Criminal Background Check and pre-employment drug screening conducted.
- Reports to Director of Resident Care.
- Must be able to read / write / speak English.
