Responsibilities
- Provide active and creative instruction in English grammar, composition and literature
- Provide engaging, student-centered instruction in the social sciences, encouraging students to analyze historical events, understand global perspectives, and make connections between the past and present.
- Serve as a homeroom teacher
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
- Foster a collaborative, positive and faith-filled classroom environment
- Communicates effectively with families and work collaboratively with faculty and staff
- Create a safe, productive classroom environment
- Utilize technology as appropriate
- Maintain online lesson plans and grade book using the prescribed tool.
- Participate in all required faculty, staff and school activities indicated by the administration
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with a well-rounded knowledge of English/Literature/Social Studies curriculum
