Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Educate students on grammar, composition, literature, and language arts.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning environment.
• Utilize learning technology to enhance instruction and student engagement.
• Provide academic advising to support students' educational journeys.
• Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
• Foster a love for reading and writing through innovative literacy education strategies.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and improve teaching methods.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, or a related field is required.
• Experience working with students in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning atmosphere.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support diverse learners.
• Familiarity with literacy education strategies and copy editing skills is a plus.
• Understanding of linguistics and its application in teaching the English language is beneficial.
• Proficiency in utilizing learning technology for instructional purposes is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.
