Manage daily service department operations, including scheduling, workflow, and technician assignments
- Lead a team of service technicians, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and efficient workforce
- Ensure high-quality customer interactions by addressing inquiries, explaining repairs accurately, and upselling additional services when appropriate
- · Responsible for the profitability of the service department, grow service department
- · Provide additional training for service techs as needed
- · Weekly report on service jobs
- · Order, receive parts and put on work ticket
- · Close out jobs from the day before
- · Determine parts for truck stock and ordering
- · Pull materials for jobs as needed, prepare work tickets
- · Hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions for service technicians and parts runner
- · Responsible for determining and setting service inventory policies and pricing
- · Hold monthly service meetings
- · Promote Sabre Blue program, updating and increase sales
- · Review and verify amount of time techs are taking to complete jobs
Qualifications:
· Proven background and knowledge of plumbing, heating or both fields
· Strong leadership qualities
· Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
· Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations
· Computer skills
· Detail and customer service oriented
· High school or equivalent degree
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in related role
Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
