Position Overview
We are seeking a strong, hands-on Store Manager to lead daily operations of our convenience store and gas station. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and is committed to maintaining high standards across all aspects of the business.
The right candidate will not only manage operations but also lead people, enforce expectations, and drive performance.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Store Standards
- Oversee all daily store operations to ensure cleanliness, organization, and efficiency
- Maintain high standards for customer service, food programs, and overall store presentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and food safety regulations
Team Leadership
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members
- Set clear expectations and hold employees accountable for performance and attendance
- Foster a positive, productive, and team-oriented work environment
Sales & Performance
- Drive sales through merchandising, product placement, and promotions
- Monitor pricing, margins, and product mix to maximize profitability
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and increase repeat business
Financial & Administrative
- Manage inventory, ordering, and shrink control
- Oversee cash handling, daily reporting, and store-level financial performance
- Handle scheduling, payroll coordination, and general administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail, convenience store, or high-volume environments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold team members accountable
- Experience with inventory management, cash handling, and POS systems
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in grocery, convenience, or quick-service environments preferred
