Scope Of Responsibility
We are seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer II to support the design and implementation of electrical systems for modular infrastructure, including data center modules, utility skids, telecommunications shelters, fiber distribution systems, and integrated assemblies. Engineers will work in a multi-disciplinary manufacturing environment supporting power distribution design, equipment selection, documentation, special systems integration, and testing. This role will perform electrical design tasks with moderate independence, leading portions of projects and supporting troubleshooting, testing, and design reviews.

Essential Duties
Core Responsibilities
- Perform electrical load calculations, feeder and branch circuit sizing, voltage drop analysis, and conduit/cable routing design.
- Develop electrical documentation including one-line diagrams, panel schedules, schematics, wiring diagrams, and termination details.
- Select and specify electrical equipment such as switchgear, panelboards, transformers, breakers, UPS systems, sensors, and control devices.
- Assist with design and integration of special systems including fire detection, gas detection, ventilation controls, and communication systems.
- Collaborate with drafting teams to produce accurate drawings and BOMs, generating redlines, design markups, and revision updates.
- Support manufacturing teams with wiring, routing, troubleshooting, and factory testing activities.
- Ensure designs meet NEC/NFPA codes, customer specifications, and internal standards.
- Work with engineering, operations, and quality teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Outline and develop process and specification documentation for department continuous improvement efforts.
- Fluency with electrical power distribution fundamentals (single/three-phase systems, grounding, overcurrent protection).
- Ability to perform conductor sizing, conduit fill, voltage drop calculations, and equipment selection.
- Development of one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and termination details.
- Working knowledge of NEC/NFPA electrical codes and safety practices.
- Manufacturing-oriented design and troubleshooting awareness.
- Analytical problem solving and attention to detail.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field required.
Experience: 2–5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience in modular, industrial, utility, or data center environments.
- Experience performing electrical design calculations and developing electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with relevant NEC, NFPA, UL, and industry specific codes and standards.
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Exposure to PLC/BAS systems and communication cabling.
- Experience with modular, industrial, telecom, or data center power systems.
- Factory testing or commissioning experience.
- Hands-on experience with electrical system testing, assembly, or troubleshooting
- Must be able to perform work in any environment and various weather conditions such as rain, sleet, snow and extreme cold and heat.
- Must be able to regularly use hands to grasp, pinch or pull materials.
- Must be able to feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Must frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch.
- Must be able to climb in and out of equipment.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to pass the commercial driver’s vision test requirements.
