Responsibilities:

As an Automotive Tag & Title Clerk, you will:

• Oversee and handle all aspects of tag and title documentation, ensuring seamless titling transactions both locally and out-of-state.
• Efficiently process titling documents using electronic vehicle registration systems and liaising with DMV offices.
• Track and post all titling operations, while monitoring related schedules.
• Calculate and process customer refunds when necessary.
• Assist with miscellaneous tag & title tasks as and when required.
• Uphold the dealership's esteemed reputation by engaging with customers and vendors professionally.
• Conduct inventory control and audits regularly.
• Stay updated with any changes in applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a minimum of one year of recent experience as an Automotive Title Clerk or DMV Clerk.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Showcase excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of multitasking.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment typical of high-volume dealerships.
• Always prioritize attention to detail, especially when working on projects with tight deadlines.
• Exhibit integrity, a strong work ethic, and be a valuable team player.
• Experience with Dealer Track/CVR/DMV is a definite advantage.
