Inventory Rep

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining an accurate account of all inventory and ordering new vehicles based on business needs and customer specifications
• Ensures proper color and trim mix is maintained based on sales history
• Responsible for acting as a liaison between departments, dealerships, and buyers
• Facilitates inventory swaps with other franchised car dealers
• Maintains an inventory replenishment system ensuring proper levels of stock
• Responsible for knowing where each vehicle is located (ie. Keeping track of which vehicles are sold, pending delivery, transferred to another dealer, at another location, currently driven by a customer, or used as a loaner or demo car)
• Responsible for tracking all inventory write-downs and write-ups
• Ensures proper payment and receipt of paperwork for the dealership
• Follows company safety procedures and policies
• Maintain current information on manufacturer updates and changes concerning vehicles.
• must have a clean driving record
