Asset Coordinator
Saber Power Services, a portfolio company of Greenbelt Capital Partners, is a fully integrated electrical power system services firm providing end-to-end solutions across utility, renewables and battery storage, industrial, petrochemical, and other markets. Based in Houston, Texas, Saber Power offers deep subject matter expertise and uses an engineering-led approach to designing, installing, testing, and maintaining medium and high-voltage electrical infrastructure. Position Summary:
The Asset Coordinator is responsible for scheduling, maintaining, and tracking all Field Services assets, including owned and rented test equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that equipment is available, properly maintained, and efficiently utilized to support operations across all projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Asset and Inventory Management:
- Track, schedule, and manage all Saber-owned and rented test equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all assets are accounted for in the tracking system.
- Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits to verify stock levels and asset availability.
- Develop and maintain reporting systems to analyze equipment usage and support CapEx planning.
- Coordinate with procurement to maintain appropriate inventory levels and backstock.
- Schedule and oversee calibration and maintenance of equipment during non-peak periods.

Operational Support:
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure optimal use of equipment and minimize reliance on external rentals.
- Ensure field technicians and teams have the necessary tools and materials to complete jobs efficiently.
- Verify purchase orders (POs) are issued and align with project timelines.
- Coordinate the movement of equipment and materials when projects are rescheduled or canceled.
- Track projects through completion, confirming the return of all assets in a timely manner.
- Work with field services and accounting teams to ensure all costs are captured accurately.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Support accounting with cost allocation inquiries related to equipment usage.
- Collaborate with branch and department managers to provide customer-focused solutions across the company.
- Support company-wide initiatives related to asset utilization and operational efficiency.

Other Duties:
- Perform other job-related duties as requested by management.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with testing equipment is preferred.
- Prior experience in asset or inventory coordination is a plus.
