Position Summary:
The Hospital Liaison is primarily responsible performing job duties that relate to the management or general business operations of the Communities, such as public relations, marketing, and revenue generation for the Communities. In addition, the Liaison is responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing customer referrals for their assigned hospital account(s) as well as ensuring appropriate market penetration and a positive public image. The Liaison will primarily work in assigned hospital account(s) daily and regularly be engaged with the Communities the Liaison supports while maintaining excellent customer service to achieve the Community’s business objectives. The success of the Liaison will be measured by referral volume, relationship development, census targets, and census trends.
Education/Qualification:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two (2) years college education in the field of healthcare administration, business management, and/or marketing or public relations related to skilled nursing/long term care.
Must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a healthcare setting.
Candidate must have a working clinical knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare industry trends and have demonstrated success with strong sale and marketing skills in post-acute industry.
