Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for reviewing and processing A/P check requests, purchase orders, invoices, and petty cash reimbursement requests in a timely manner. The Specialist will also reconcile vendor statements, research and resolve discrepancies, communicate professionally with vendors and community personnel, and support the accounting department with special projects.
Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two (2) or more years of accounts payable processing experience working both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
