Saber Building Services is excited to welcome a dependable Custodian to our team at a large professional office facility near the South Boulevard corridor in Pontiac. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and taking pride in keeping high-traffic areas clean and well maintained.
This role is focused primarily on vacuuming throughout the facility using a backpack vacuum. We are looking for someone who can stay on task, work efficiently, and provide consistent quality throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Vacuum carpeted areas using a backpack vacuum
- Complete assigned vacuum routes throughout the facility
- Spot vacuum high-traffic areas as needed
- Maintain the backpack vacuum and related equipment
- Follow established cleaning and safety procedures
Requirements
- Must be able and willing to wear and use a backpack vacuum throughout the shift
- Dependable and consistent attendance
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned duties
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Ability to follow facility safety and security requirements
Pay: $15 - $16 per hour
